With that being said I have come up with some ideas, and I am excited to share them with you this summer! I also have a surprise announcement coming at the end of July/early August for all of you. :)
For my first activity back, I have created a multisyllabic activity. I have a few students with multisyllabic goals coming up, so I created this for myself and for all of you! I hope you enjoy it.
The instructions are pretty self explanatory. Included in the download are 2, 3, and 4 syllable words. The great thing about this activity is that pictures are included with words! I know how important pictures are for those early readers and young students.
There are 24 2-syllable, 3-syllable, and 4-syllable words. Therefore, this download includes 72 words and accompanying pictures total!
As you can see there are suns on each card. The suns depict the number of syllables in that word. The suns are not worth a specific number of "points" if you play the game.
Included in the download are lightning bolts and stars. Lightning bolt cards require the student to place one card back in the pile and star cards allow the student to take another turn. The student with the most sun cards (all worth one point regardless of the number of suns on the card) is the winner.
You could also use the suns as points and work on those addition skills!

I hope you all find this activity fun and useful! Please leave feedback if you decide to download it. Thanks! :)
