Today I am posting a fabulous activity packet that touches on verbs, pronouns, and even prepositions. This is ideal for the preschool and Kindergarten population.
There are a few different parts to the packet. The first item is a verb poster than explains what verbs are. This is something you can send home to parents along with verb worksheets or you can put up in your speech room as a quick reference!
The second item is a cut and glue verb activity. This activity is has both a receptive and expressive part. Expressively you can have the student name the verb they see. Receptively you can have the student cut and glue the appropriate verb in the appropriate section matching the verb. Follow/trace the lines from the matching boxes with a pencil or with a finger to determine on what box the verb should be glued.
Cut and Glue Verbs
The third item is a cut and glue verb, pronoun, and preposition activity. Expressively you can have the student label the verb, use the correct pronoun, or identify the preposition. Receptively you can have the student follow the directions and have him/her place the correct verb in the correct position. These also make great homework pages!
Finally, the last item is a name that verb activity. This is also a great homework activity. Simply have the student label the verb (or use the correct pronoun+verb-ing format). Check the box every time the student gets the verb correct!
What do you think? I know that I can use these pages with almost all of my preschoolers! I hope you can, too! :)
